HORSE FARM CARETAKER WANTED FOR A COZY HORSE BOARDING FARM
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible employee to take care of our cozy horse boarding facility for Icelandic horses in Hillerød starting from September 1, 2024.

ABOUT THE JOB:
- Responsibilities: Daily care of the horses and cleaning and oversight of the facility.
- Work Environment: Outdoor work in scenic surroundings close to the forest
- Flexibility: Great freedom to organize your own tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Practical and physically strong. This is hard work especially in the winther time.
- Interested in horses; experience with animal care is an advantage but not required.
- Non-smoker, 25 years or older, and fluent in Danish or English.
- Danish work permit needed (before you apply)
TASKS:
- Feeding: Morning feeding around 7 AM, lunch mid-day and evening feeding between 6-8 PM.
- Daily Tasks: Varied tasks on the farm requiring flexibility and independence.
- Adaptability: Work is adapted to the weather and the needs of the animals.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Work Hours: Full-time position (37 hours/week in average) with every other weekend off.
- Salary and Housing: Combined salary and free housing on the farm, in line with union level.
- Housing: 70 sqm apartment on the farm with 2 rooms, kitchen, bathroom, and large private garden.
- Additional Benefits: Work phone, work shoes, and boarding of your Icelandic horse.
